Art History/Architecture with Academic Visual Art– (Mondays, 2-4 p.m. August-May 2022/23) Students will deeply explore creative expression throughout the centuries, acquiring a lasting and strong understanding of historical events and themes. Students will be guided in drawing, painting, and/or sculpting lessons that utilize the techniques of the Renaissance through 19th century European masters. Students will have the option to submit art projects to local and national contests such as the Scholastic art competition. This class is able to support students with mild to moderate learning differences, but is also rich enough in content to inspire the most capable of students.
